Like many people, my plans for the 2020 season have been dramatically changed.
Unfortunately COVID-19 meant that I was not able to attend the Oceania and Australia Karate competitions this year as they were cancelled. However, despite the disappointment I have been busy training.
The great news is that the football season has just started up again!
At the end of last year my football team won the New Zealand National Football Tournament. We also went on to win the Wyners World Cup Tournament in December, beating Korea in the Finals.
Thank you so much for my Junior Excellence Award, I learnt so much from the AIMES Awards process, it was such a great motivator. The framed certificate has pride of place on our wall and helps me everyday to continue to work my hardest with training!
